Prior to joining the Globe as a digital producer in 2015, he worked as a staff reporter for a number of publications, including The MetroWest Daily News, The Standard-Times, and The Bermuda Sun. A graduate of UMass Amherst, McDonald also holds a master’s in journalism from City University London.
