    A junior at Western New England University, the Triton Regional grad won the 184-pound title at the NCAA Division 3 wrestling championships in Roaknoke, Va., with a 5-3 overtime win. He is the first individual national champion in any sport for the Golden Bears and finished with a 33-6 record this season.

    The Brandeis University senior won the mile at the Division 3 Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships — recording the fifth-fastest time (4:45.80) in D3 history — and ran the anchor leg on the Judges’ victorious distance medley relay team at the Reggie Lewis Center. Her twin sister, Julia, ran the lead leg.

    The starting goalie for the 25th-ranked Babson women’s lacrosse team, the sophomore earned Defensive Athlete of the Week honors from the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference after posting a .515 save percentage in two starts, including 11 saves in a 17-6 win over Bates, ranked 21st in Division 3.
