The first time I met Luke Perry we talked about what kind of movie we wanted ?Buffy? to be. I asked if he?d ever seen ?Near Dark? and he gave me a look of HOW DARE YOU SIR and I knew we?d get along. Funny, committed, and always gracious. He shouldn?t be gone.— Joss Whedon (@joss) March 4, 2019

It?s very sad to hear about the passing of Luke Perry at such an early age. Met him a few times, was always friendly & nice. My thoughts are with his family right now, especially his son, pro wrestler Jack "Jungle Boy" Perry.— The MULTIFARIOUS Matt Hardy (@MATTHARDYBRAND) March 4, 2019
Luke Perry was a really good guy. So kind. I thought he was the coolest when I was a kid and had the pleasure of knowing him as an adult. Heartbreaking that he?s gone so young. Rest In Peace, brother.— DJ Qualls (@TheOnlyDJQualls) March 4, 2019
