The Framingham Public Library’s McAuliffe Branch will be hosting a free presentation titled “Bees, Birds, and Butterflies in the Garden” Wednesday, July 19 at 7:00 p.m. Laura Mattei, the director of stewardship at Sudbury Valley Trustees, will be using a collection of photographs to showcase the animals and provide advice for increasing wildlife sightings. As a part of the “Powisset Cooks!” program, Powisset Farm in Dover will be hosting a Totally Tomatoes cooking lesson, Saturday, July 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. Those who attend will be able to can and dehydrate tomatoes so that they can be enjoyed year round. They will also have the opportunity to make tomato sauce and even Bloody Mary mix, all of which they can then take home.
