Jessica Tang, president of the Boston Teachers Union, spoke at rally outside of the Bolling Building on March 20.

The Boston Teachers Union Wednesday night ratified a three-year contract that includes 2 percent pay raises, nurses in every school, and 23 additional mental health providers for students.

“Tonight’s overwhelming approval demonstrates deep support from members of the Boston Teachers Union for the new resources we have won for students,” said BTU President Jessica Tang in a statement. “It is symbolic of our continued commitment to fight for the schools our students deserve.”

The Boston School Committee is expected to vote on the contract next week.
