Police seek suspect in Manchester, N.H., bank robbery

Police are searching for the man who robbed a bank in Manchester, N.H., Monday, officials said.

A man in his early 30s entered the St. Mary’s Bank at 234 Elm St. around 2:30 p.m. and passed a note to a bank employee demanding money. After receiving the money, the man fled and was last seen running east on Valley Street. Police did not say how much money was taken.

Police described the suspect as a heavy-set man, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, with light facial hair and green or hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, a white hat, and white sneakers.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Manchester police at 603-668-8711.
