The number of pounds of thrust generated by the MBTA’s two jet engine-powered monsters, each commonly referred to as “Snowzilla,” that melt snow on the tracks by blowing hot air at high pressure. The rail-borne vehicles burn through 900 gallons of fuel for each trip.
