Longtime Boston news anchor Christa Delcamp is headed to NBC10.

Delcamp, a former anchor on WHDH-TV (Channel 7), had been with the station for 14 years, but said in January that she was leaving.

NBC10 Boston announced Monday that Delcamp is slated to join the station’s morning news team, starting Wednesday.

The anchor, who has already changed her Twitter name to reflect the change in employment, wrote on social media that she is “thrilled” to join NBC.

“She brings with her a strong connection to the New England community and a tremendous level of professionalism,” the station wrote in Monday’s announcement, which was posted online.

Delcamp will anchor weekday morning news coverage from 4 to 7 a.m., along with anchor Latoyia Edwards, meteorologist Matt Noyes, and traffic reporter Natasha Verma.
