Boston police search for trio who held up seven convenience stores this month

    Boston police department

Boston police are searching for three men who have held up seven local convenience stores at gunpoint since early November.

The men have robbed stores in several Boston neighborhoods, including Mattapan, Roxbury, and Roslindale, police said in a press release. Their last reported robberies were at two different spots on Blue Hill Avenue on November 18.

In each incident, all three suspects walked into the store and demanded money from the register and safe, police said. At least one of the suspects always appeared to be armed with a black handgun.

The trio of men were described as black and about 25 to 30 years old, police said. They were each wearing hooded sweatshirts pulled over their heads and faces, latex gloves, ski masks, and bandanas.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects or the robberies to contact the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting the word “TIP” to CRIME (27463).
