Driver killed in motor home crash in Carver

A 34-year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon after the car he was driving crashed head-on into a motor home in Carver, officials said.

The victim, who was not identified, was behind the wheel of a 2004 Buick Lesabre, when he apparently crossed the center line and struck the motor home, Carver police said in a press release.

Emergency crews had to extricate the driver from his car, authorities said.

The man was taken to Tobey Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, Carver Police Chief Marc Duphily said.

The operator of the motor home and a passenger were also taken to Tobey Hospital, officials said.

The crash is under investigation, Duphily said.
