We know he can take over an NBA game in the fourth quarter, but can Isaiah Thomas act? We’re about to find out. The former Celtics guard will play himself in an upcoming episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” Judging from a tweet Tuesday, Thomas, whom the Celtics traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers last month for Kyrie Irving, is taping the episode Wednesday. Thomas wouldn’t be the first non-actor to land a role on NBC’s long-running procedural. Other big names who’ve had cameos on the show include Bradley Cooper, Serena Williams, Miranda Lambert, Sarah Paulson, Norman Reedus, Chloe Sevigny, and Carol Burnett. The episode featuring Thomas apparently will air sometime in October.
