Baby might be going to Mount Holyoke in the fall, but first she needs to show up at Somerville’s Assembly Row on Friday, June 8, for Dancing on the Row: The “Dirty Dancing” edition.

The festivities start at 6 p.m. with a salsa lesson from Eli “Lady” Pabon from MetaMovements, a Boston-based Latin dance company.

Next, DJ Rob Suave will play salsa and “Dirty Dancing” tunes. Then, a dance-off begins: At 7:30 p.m., Pabon will pick the most coordinated couple to win a pair of tickets to see the upcoming “Dirty Dancing” musical in Boston, plus goodies from Assembly Row.

The revelry lasts until 9 p.m. Gather in front of Caffè Nero (375 Assembly Row), and prepare to have the time of your life, spaghetti arms.
